Thurebi<\/strong> ( Satureja thybra<\/em> ) is a perennial low shrub found in several mountainous and semi-mountainous barren stony soils of the Greek land. In addition to its official name, it has various other local names, such as Thymbra<\/em> the mountainous, Thrymba<\/em> , Melitzini<\/em> , Tragorigani<\/em> , Agriotsai<\/em> , Tragochorto<\/em> and others. It reaches a height of 20 to 40 cm, its leaves are elongated, dark green and sharp at the edges with a small stem. When it blooms, the flowers are purple or pink or white, placed in dense and spherical inflorescences on the last vertebrae of the shoots (supreme fossa). It emits a very pleasant aroma<\/strong> , which makes it a suitable plant for planting in yards, gardens and pots.<\/p>\n
