Millet<\/strong> is a type of cereal that was known to the ancient Greeks, who cultivated it systematically, mainly for making bread.<\/p>\n

It is a wonderful cereal<\/strong> that is quite nutritious as it is an excellent source of copper, manganese, phosphorus and magnesium<\/strong> for our diet. It is an ideal alternative for those who want to replace rice and potatoes, it can also be included in homemade bread recipes.<\/p>\n

Millet is dominant in the human diet and its consumption goes back many thousands of years to the roots of man on the African continent. Contains minerals and trace elements. It provides us with three times more iron than wheat<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

Physiologists emphasize the abundance of silicic acid and zinc<\/strong> in millet. No other type of cereal has such a high percentage of these compounds. It is probably the oldest cereal in the world<\/strong> on which the nutrition and evolution of man were based. It is very easy to cook like rice<\/strong> and can be eaten alone or in soups or salads.<\/p>\n

There are recipes to eat it either as for breakfast or as lunch. Easy to cook and goes with anything. Try mixing it with quinoa or buckwheat for a better texture.<\/p>\n
