Rustyback (Asplenium ceterach) dried in a natural way of sustainable collection from Mount Paiko. The ancient Greeks used it as an antitussive and diuretic. It is traditionally used by the peoples of the Mediterranean to help with kidney stones. It is also combined with mallow and hibiscus for the treatment of bronchial diseases. The taste is very bitter and should be sweetened with other herbs such as licorice. The plant is harvested from late spring to summer and can be dried for future use.<\/p>\n

The plant has diuretic properties, is used to help with spleen problems and is also astringent.<\/p>\n

Be careful when using it, as it has not been fully tested.<\/p>\n
