The wonderful taste of the syrup <strong>is slightly reminiscent of honey and caramel<\/strong> . Ideal <strong>alternative to sugar<\/strong> and processed sweeteners. It is ideal for pancakes and ice cream, for breakfast and yogurt.<\/p>\n<p>Agave syrup is a sweetener derived from the Mexican agave cactus. Due to its almost neutral taste it is an excellent <strong>substitute for sugar and honey<\/strong> . Its sweetening ingredients are <em>glucose<\/em> , <em>fructose<\/em> and <em>inulin<\/em> , thanks to the latter it has a <strong>low glycemic index<\/strong> lower than honey.<\/p>\n<p>Used to sweeten drinks and sweets. To make the syrup, agave is harvested at 7-10 years of cultivation. The juice obtained from the pulp is then processed at temperatures below 45 \u00b0 C.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>dark agave syrup is less filtered<\/strong> and the solid particles retained in it give it a delicious taste that is sometimes reminiscent of <em>maple syrup<\/em> . The taste of the syrup, however, is very delicate and much weaker than in honey.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Nutritional statement per 100gr:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Energy: 1278 kJ \/ 285 kcal<br \/>\nFat: 0.0g<br \/>\nof which saturated: 0.0g<br \/>\nCarbohydrates: 75.0g<br \/>\nof which sugars: 73.0g<br \/>\nProteins: 0.0g<br \/>\nSalt: 0.0g<\/p>\n<p>Due to the high amount of fructose, it is recommended to consume a maximum of 15g \/ day. <strong>It is ideal for making moderate coffee, tea and cold drinks (easily dissolved).<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Way of use:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>It can be used for sweetness instead of sugar or honey in hot drinks. It is not right to combine with carbonated drinks.
