Camphor

Camphor essential oil is obtained after distillation of the leaves and bark of the plant. This plant is found mainly in the East, in areas of China and Japan. These peoples have been using camphor oil for thousands of years, not only in traditional medicine but also because they have placed it in many occasions of their devotional life. In addition, camphor essential oil is particularly beneficial in case of itching or pain. More specifically, camphor essential oil is only applied externally to the areas where the problem exists. Essential camphor essential oil dissolved in a vegetable oil base has the ability to increase blood flow and stimulate nerve endings and thus the pain is reduced.
