Carob honey is produced from locust bean fruits and has a mild sweet taste. Can be used as a sweetener for tahini cakes hot and cold drinks yogurt ice cream and rice. It is an excellent substitute for sugar.

Carob honey is also known as a traditional medicine for coughs and sore throats. It has a high content of calcium, almost three times more than milk (carob has 350mg per 100gr compared to milk that has 120mg per 100gr). The taste can vary depending on the variety that has been used without changing the nutritional values. For its production we use only Cretan locusts.
