Bitter almond essential oil, properties:

Bitter almond essential oil is toxic and should not be applied directly to the skin. Use it to scent your room or to make a disinfectant-deodorant spray for your room. You can spray your curtains, throws, rugs, carpets, fabrics and cushions to disinfect and freshen them. You will need a sprayer, a cup of water, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, 1/3 cup of alcohol, 15 drops of bitter almond essential oil, 15 drops of cinnamon essential oil and 10 drops of orange essential oil. First combine the essential oils with the alcohol and then add all the other ingredients and the air freshener is ready.

Never apply essential oils directly to the skin. Proper dilution is critical when using essential oils on the skin (2-3% essential oil to base oil).
