Chickpeas used to make this flour are rich in protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals. Vitamins B1 and B6 are vital for the health of the digestive system, the central nervous system and the health of one of our most important organs, the brain. Very important in the metabolism of the food we consume, these vitamins are equivalent to the use of macronutrients in the energy we can use and its supply, especially to the brain which needs to consume virtuous energy. A 25g serving of chickpea flour at 55% of the recommended daily allowance of folic acid (B9). This vitamin is known for its role in pregnancy – vital for the DNA synthesis required to create new cells.
