Carob is a complete nutritional fruit and its nutritional value is remarkable as it is full of fiber, polyphenols and tannins that give it antioxidant properties. Also, although rich in natural sugars, it has very few calories, little fat, contains no gluten and no caffeine.

Carob is rich in vitamins A, B and D, has a high content of calcium, phosphorus, potassium, carbohydrates, protein, magnesium and various minerals.

Soak the locust bean pods overnight and enjoy them softly in the morning or add them to smoothies. You can also grind them in a blender and add them to recipes instead of sugar.
